Participate in Family Beyond the Binary
Community Advisory Board
This project will be informed by ongoing discussions with a Community Advisory Board to ensure that the project remains community-led and -driven throughout. The Board will be made up of 10 non-binary individuals and will made meet in London twice a year to provide input on all stages of the project, including study design, data analysis and output production. All travel expenses will be paid and board members will be compensated for their time (via vouchers). The first Community Advisory Board meeting will be held at the end of November.
Participant Recruitment
In January 2026, we will be recruiting 200 non-binary individuals (must be aged 18+ and living in the UK) to participate in Phase 1 of the study. This involves the completion of an online survey, which will include questionnaires on a range of topics, including family, wellbeing, stigma and community.
